   My IKIGAI

We say the universe is made up of atoms. which of course is true, but it's also made up of stories, not one, not two but billions of them and these stories flow through us and our energies. Some are radiant ones that leave an impression on the world and some are rather faint but significant in their own right. So here I am, writing my story...I don't really know if it's former or the latter, but for me what matters is how one lives it!

I am a student and like every other student, my struggle begins when I get up in the morning. My fun activity of the day that helps me compose my self is cooking. It makes me lose all my emotional stress and helps me feel liberated & carefree. To me, it's just like reading a romantic tale or feeling like a little birdie flying in a free sky.

Cooking rejoices me, be it the sound of a doughnut frying or that beep of the oven that tells me now my cake is ready to go for a treat of icing. And the look on the family's faces when they taste my cooking!!!! It makes me feel more alive, my heart beats a little faster, I get high on hopes and the charm of it.

I have been interested in cooking since a very young age. I was intrigued when I used to see my grandmother cook, I used to be quite young so I had to stand up on a stool to see what she used to cook. I always love cooking with my mother and my chachi, both of them bring out the best in me.

I have never thought of becoming a chef because I think of cooking as a recreational activity only and science is and has always been my passion. But which one is my 'IKIGAI', my reason for getting out of bed in the morning...? I guess that I will have to wait for my story to unfold and hope that the universe has its ways, that things will fall into the right place for me at the right time.
